- Prior to October 2006 I had an idyllic allotment in Tonbridge, Kent, about which this blog was born. Since giving it up on moving to Northampton I've been on the dreaded list, waiting for another; but now finally in April 2010 I'm back on the land, and "Dig for Victory" can ride again. If you have been following my rather spasmodic output at "Quotidian" in the meanwhile, please do adjust your sets!

Hope your mobility problems sort themselves out soon.....
Am torn between the urge to jump into the leaves and throw 'em around or shove them all in a bin bag to add to the leaf mould!

I was going to say that I'm with Frankie on seeing garden gold in those leaves...until I saw your reply! Nope, it is still the garden gold I see, and all the big plump wiggly wiggler worms I find partying down in the leaf mulch.
Do you still have that many leaves left on the trees? We came home today to find most of the leaves on the ground. Hope your improvements continue!
