If The Cap Fits....

I seem to have been wearing several hats today…

“Up betimes and to the office”…..For a full day manning the switchboard and barricades in the Advice Centre, punctuated by a lunchtime trip to the Estate Agents, to try and engender a bit of fresh enthusiasm in them.

Then shopping after work, before getting home and doing a couple of hours computer graft, designing some business documentation for my old employers. (You’d think that 2 years after my departure they would have found someone else to do this shit, but I'm not complaining as I can charge them a spiffing hourly rate.)

Then a walk to my friends house to feed his cat whilst he’s away....A simple task, that provides a sensibly more modest, yet equally welcome contribution to the coffers.

A quick call to another friend on the way home to agree this weekends decorating agenda, and to advise my client to buy more paint, before another couple of hours work at home, in my capacity (for my sins) as Chairman of the management company where I live – Writing letters and working on organising the replacement glazing project we are embarking on.

That’s at least four jobs in a one day……

It’s now eleven o’clock and I’ve just realised I haven’t had any dinner yet….

So what am I doing about it? ………. Well telling you lot how good I've been of course!
